Chili COok off

Saturday, November 6 at 6:00 pm

In the Family Life Center

What: This is a fund raiser for the middle school and high school youth, a fun fellowship opportunity, and a good-natured competition! The menu will include a large variety of chili (we will provide small tasting bowls so you can try as many as you would like!), corn bread, apple cider, and dessert. There will also be macaroni and cheese available for kids.

Who: Everyone is invited! This is a family-friendly event, and people of all ages are welcome.

Cost: There will be no cost for admission to the chili cook off; those who come and eat will vote for their favorite chili with donations to the youth group. The chili that collects the most donations to the youth group will win the Golden Ladle Trophy! All donations will be used to help participating middle school and high school students go on trips and retreats. If you have any questions, please contact Noah Prins ( or Josiah Huisman (

Do you think your chili has what it takes to win the Golden Ladle Trophy? If you would like to enter the competition, click here to sign up, make a crock pot full of your best chili, and bring it to the Family Life Center by 5:45 pm on November 6th. Please bring your own ladle. The winner will be announced at 7:15 pm.
