  • JOHN HADDIX

    DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP & ARTS

    john@frcz.org

John Haddix has enjoyed serving in music outreach and worship ministry his entire career. He and his wife, Pam, served with Cru’s music ministry (Campus Crusade for Christ, Intl,) for 18 years, which took them to nearly every state, and internationally - sharing the gospel through music and the arts, with students and adults. He served as a full-time Music/Worship Arts Pastor in two church plants, in Indiana and Michigan for another 14 years. Since 2009, he and Pam, have each written music, books and blogged on worship and worship arts, as well as taught and mentored other artists. John’s (and Pam’s) passion is to move people spiritually, (toward a deeper relationship with Christ) through music and arts ministry, to build the church in authentic worship, and to disciple younger artists. They currently live in Zeeland MI, and have 2 married daughters with 7 grandkids whom they thoroughly love and enjoy! More of their story is at www.haddixes.org

  • Christy DePree

    DIRECTOR OF MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRIES

    christy@frcz.org

Christy comes to Zeeland from Mason, MI (southeast of Lansing) with a rich history of involvement in Young Life, both as a student and a leader.  Christy's relationship with Christ began as a result of her involvement in WyldLife as a middle school student, and her time with Young Life as a high school and college student has shaped and refined her faith.  She attended Hope College for two years before transferring to Michigan State University, where she finished her degree in psychology in May 2015.  Christy fills our Director of Middle School Ministries position as a Young Life Church Partner, with her time shared between ministry to students who are already active at FRCZ and outreach to students in the Zeeland community through the WyldLife program. Christy greatly enjoys working with youth, building relationships with them, sharing God’s love, and walking alongside them as they grow in their faith.  In her free time, Christy enjoys being outside, spending time at the beach, hiking, reading, and watching movies.
