In-Person Worship

We have resumed in-person with limited capacity!

  • Online worship (Facebook Live and Livestream) will still be available; if online worship has been working well for you or if you are worshiping with a small group, please continue worshiping in this way!

  • Due to limited seating capacity, we will use a reservation system and will also hold a limited amount of seats for guests. If you are on the church email list, watch your email each week for an RSVP form.

  • If you choose to come, we ask that you wear a mask. Single-use masks will be available at the entrance if you do not have a cloth mask.

  • Services will be approximately 45 minutes long.

  • Services will include musical worship, but the congregation will not be asked to sing at this time.

  • Nursery and Children’s Worship will be unavailable at this time.

  • You will be asked about health symptoms during registration. If you or a family member is feeling unwell or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home. If your age or health conditions put you at high risk for COVID-19 complications, please consider staying home.

  • On Sunday morning, you may enter the building through the Sanctuary/Lincoln Ave. entrance. Doors will be propped open, and a greeter will welcome you warmly. The Central Avenue entrance will be closed.

  • Please go directly to the sanctuary, where an usher will help you find a seat that is at least six feet away from other households or individuals.

  • Offering baskets will not be passed as we do our best to minimize contact as much as possible. Giving online or in one of the offering boxes in the lobby is encouraged!

  • Please bring your own Bible if you desire, as pew Bibles will not be available. Bulletins and other printed materials will be unavailable at this time.

  • Physical distancing is encouraged at all times.

  • Coffee will not be served, but you may bring your own coffee if you would like.

  • The church staff and facilities team have been working to minimize risk as much as possible; click here to view detailed safety precautions that we are taking

We are so excited to see you and look forward to worshipping together!

*Parents of Young Children: There will not be nursery or Children’s Worship during this phase. Please help keep your children and others safe by keeping them near you at all times. We welcome children and their wiggles, so please come if you’re comfortable, and feel free to bring activities from home for your kids. If you need to excuse yourself, you may take your children outdoors.

As with most plans during this pandemic, dates and plans are subject to change based on trends and health recommendations.

Healthy and Safe Worship

Making safety a priority as we worship together

  • FAce Masks

If you choose to come to worship, we ask that you wear a mask. Please bring a cloth mask or wear a single-use mask that will be available at the entrance.

  • Increased Cleaning

We are taking extra cleaning measures to make sure that all surfaces are cleaned after each use.

  • Increased Air Flow

Outside doors will be propped open as much as possible to allow ventilation and outside air circulation. The HVAC system will also be running continuously during worship to allow maximum ventilation.

  • Limited Sanctuary Capacity

To allow adequate social distance, those who plan to attend worship will be asked to sign up in advance at frcz.org, and registration will be capped to allow visitors to attend.

Some pews will be unavailable, and ushers will assist individuals and families in finding a seat.

  • Congregational Singing

While musical worship will still be a part of the service, the congregation will not be asked to sing.

  • Physical Distance

Some pews will be unavailable, and ushers will assist individuals and families in finding a seat.

Following worship, ushers will dismiss worshipers starting from the back of the sanctuary. Fellowship in the lobby is discouraged.

  • Touchless Lobby

    • All entrance/exit doors will be propped open
    • Greeters will not shake hands
    • Offering plates will not be passed
    • Touchless hand sanitizer stations
    • Printed bulletins and pew Bibles unavailable
